Parker Hannifin 2507 MPA™ Gaugeable Tube Fittings are engineered and manufactured to be secure and gas-tight while being made manually (wrench turns) or hydraulically using a presetting tool. This connection has application throughout industry, including off-shore oil and gas exploration platforms, research labs, and other facilities that require operating pressures to 10,000 psi (690 bar).
2507 MPA™ fittings are specifically designed for use with 2507 Super Duplex instrumentation tubing supplied by Parker Instrumentation Products Division (IPD).
- Excellent resistance to Stress Corrosion Cracking (SCC)
- Excellent resistance to pitting and Crevice corrosion
- Very High Mechanical Strength
- NACE MR0175/ISO 15156 and NORSOK M630 compliant material is available
- Minimum PRE value for Parker Supplied tubing is 42.5
- Fitting is supplied complete with both front and back ferrules and compression tube nut, ready to install.
- Front ferrule with corrosion-resistant Parker Suparcase® forms a seal between the tube, body and ferrule. It also provides a mechanical/vibration resistant hold on the tube.
- Back ferrule with corrosion-resistant Parker Suparcase® provides a strong mechanical hold on the tube.
- Longer thread area for improved resistance to pressure and load on the ferrules.
- Molybdenum disulfide-coated nut helps prevent galling, provides easier assembly, and permits multiple remakes.
- The Maximum Allowable Pressure Rating (MAWP) for 2507 MPA™ tubing and fittings is calculated to ASME B31.3, chapter 2. The MAWP of a system is determined by the tube, fitting, valve, or end-connection with the lowest MAWP rating.
- The Parker X42 Medium Pressure Cone & Thread Connection, Parker Type “M” hose connection and the Parker X44 compression connections meet or exceed the MAWP of 2507 MPA™ fittings.
